At Uluwatu Estate the stage is set for privately arranged performances of Bali’s most diverse traditional dances. Surrounded by magnificent handcrafted decorations, the scene is a fitting backdrop to the dancers and gamelan orchestra of the Anak Agung’s Puri Agung Palace of Denpasar.

A gamelan orchestra is the largest musical ensemble anywhere in the world, other than a full scale symphony orchestra of the west. And Bali’s fabled dances, notably the Legong, Kecak Fire Dance, Barong and Baris invariably take root in deep Hindu mythology and religion.
