The classic Welcome Dance, the Pendet, is always the prelude to the main dance of the evening, performed at our dedicated stage that has been customised to the raised terrace at the heart of the Retreat. Our dancers are trained to perform at the Puri Agung Palace in Denpasar.
An alternative evening to a dance performed by the Puri Agung Palace of Denpasar, we support a special charity to train young dancers who are deaf and dum. The chief choreographer directs each of their movements with such a precision, it is utterly mesmerising and a moving sight to behold.
