Surfing
Bali is Indonesia’s surfing mecca, with Uluwatu’s Blue Point beach as its most famous and host to world class surfing waves and World Tour surfing competitions. The Bukit peninsula boasts at least seven surf beaches, mostly for the advanced surfers who can combat the sharp reef sea floors in shallow break zones, strong currents and fast breaking waves. But there is something for everyone, even for beginners, at Dreamland or Padang Padang beach. And directly below our Estate lies the the expanse of Nyang Nyang beach where surfers are tempted to brave the unforgivably challenging currents and coral reefs when that window of opportunity presents itself.
